February was Aotearoa Cycle Month and the staff at CBHS embraced the idea with staff taking to their bikes and riding to school.

It was encouraging to see people who normally chose to drive take up the challenge and ride regardless of the weather. It also made people aware of the hazards that the students face as they cycle to school on a daily basis.

To reward those who made the ride into school a lunch was provided for the staff at the end of the month.

Continuing on from cycle month the staff will be looking at March as the month to try walking to school.
