Assessment and Qualifications

International —

The High School Qualification is the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA). About NCEA :: NZQA

-Year 9-10 students

Students will sit corequisite exams at year 10 in Literacy (Reading and Writing) and Numeracy. Students will need to pass these 3 assessments to be able to gain NCEA Levels 1, 2 and 3.

NCEA Co-requisite | NCEA (education.govt.nz)

-Year 11, 12, 13 students will be assessed through internal and external exams at Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Students who gain 14 credits in 3 university recognised subjects as well as UE Literacy and UE Numeracy, will be awarded University Entrance (UE).

University Entrance approved subjects :: NZQA

University Entrance allows entry into Universities in New Zealand and abroad.
