This year, the annual Christ’s College vs Christchurch Boys’ High School rugby game will be held on Tuesday 4 June at the Linwood Rugby Club ground, Linfield Park, with kick-off at 1pm.

Routine for the day

• 8.45am Assembly
• 9.30am - Period 1
• 10:10am - Period 2
• 11:15am - Interval 
• 11:45am - Meet at Hall for departure
• 12:00pm - Buses depart to Linfield Park
• 2:30pm - Buses depart back to CBHS

CBHS students are not required to attend the match, however, the only way they will be able to attend is by travelling with the school on buses. Those not attending the match will be able to go home or stay at school where there will be supervising staff. Any parent who wishes to attend with the boys and support with supervision is welcome to join us on the buses. 

Further information will be provided regarding how boys can register to attend. 

Expectations

The boys will be accompanied at the match by their teachers. Our teachers are there to stand alongside our students in supporting the match. We do not expect teachers to have to confront students over offensive behaviour. To enable this our boys and parents do need to know that our Blue Black values will be applied and behaviour that is offensive, discriminatory or that puts others at risk will be responded to firmly. We will talk with the boys about this in the coming weeks to make sure that our expectations are explicit.
