Careers Update

Richard Webster —

Term 3 is a very busy term for our senior students. Tracking credits, completing assessments and preparing for the end of year externals should all be a key focus. For the Year 13 students considering tertiary study next year, there are a number of important dates to be aware of and several applications that need to be made, to secure a place in the course and institution of their choice.

Year 13 students need to be aware that the transition to adulthood has arrived. The decisions they make now will have an impact on the future opportunities available to them. It is vital that they realise that they need to take responsibility for seeking out what is required of them and ensure that they meet the deadlines and all submission criteria. Tertiary institutions will not accept applications that are late.
