13 Minutes

Māia Health Foundation —

13 Minutes. That’s how long it takes to transfer by ambulance to Christchurch Hospital from the current helipad location in Hagley Park.

Māia Health Foundation is raising funds to help fund a future proof helipad and clinical assessment unit on the roof of the new Christchurch Hospital building.

A new future proof rooftop helipad will see people get emergency hospital treatment immediately on touchdown and will mean up to an hour is saved with neonatal transfers. Crucially we can do away with the current 13-minute ambulance transfer.

Our total target is $2million by the end of 2018.

We need to raise $500,000 through the 13-minute campaign and we have 6 weeks to make this happen.

Together if we do, Rātā Foundation will match it dollar for dollar.

That’s $1million towards a future proof rooftop helipad, a much needed asset for New Zealand’s busiest trauma hospital.

Please be generous when giving to this much needed asset for our community.

Together we can land this.
