Japan Language Tour

After a very early start at the airport, 14 students and two teachers made the 12-hour journey to Japan on the last Tuesday of Term 1, full of anticipation and just a little nervous about what lay ahead.

With just over 30 million people within its city boundaries, Tokyo is an extraordinary place to start a tour. After settling into our youth hostel, language skills were immediately put to the test as we set out to get dinner. Everyone felt great about overcoming an important hurdle and it was clear from that evening that every challenge would be met head-on.
