PTA News
The PTA were proud to support the launch of former Senior Monitor Jake Bailey’s autobiography “What Cancer Taught Me” at school on May 12.
We are grateful to Jake for enabling the PTA to sell his book and to make some money which will be used for the boys at school.
Thanks to Susie Watson, Helen Evans and Jennifer Leahy for helping to organise the sales and for a number of PTA volunteers who helped at the launch.
PTA Fundraisers – we would still love your support
Boxes of cling film are available from the school office for $30 a box.
Signed copies of Jake Bailey’s book are also available for $25.
PTA Major Function for 2017
The PTA are planning a major fundraising function in the new school hall. We would love some assistance from someone in our school community who could help us with a marketing plan for this event. If this sounds like you we would love to hear from you – please email jennifer.leahy@clear.net.nz
PTA Uniform Shop
Plans are well underway for a new building for the school’s uniform shop. It is an exciting time for the PTA uniform shop committee as they work towards the development of a brand new shop. We always appreciate more help in the shop so if you have any spare time on a Tuesday or Friday afternoon please email Jo van Wiggen - cbhs.ptauniformshop@gmail.com
