Old Boy cyclist Keagan Girdlestone was involved in an accident while competing in Italy. Keagan, cycling at full speed, went through the rear window of a team car suffering serious facial injuries.

Keagan’s life was saved through the professional response of medical officers and he is facing a long period in ICU. Keagan’s parents have joined him in Italy and a give a little page has been set up to support him and his parents in Italy. The school’s thoughts are with Keagan and his family.

Reunion Dinner

Planning is underway for a NSW / Sydney reunion dinner on September 1st with guest speakers Andrew Mehrtens and Daryl Gibson. Anyone who wishes to be in touch with the NSW branch of the Old Boys can email the school reception at enquiries@cbhs.school.nz.

The school and Old Boys Association is also very keen to keep in touch with Old Boys and appreciates email addresses being sent to the school.
