Board Matters
Celebrating 10 years at the helm
"Happy Anniversary Nic!
The Board had the real pleasure of acknowledging ten years have passed since our Headmaster Nic Hill joined us back in June 2013.
That period has seen Nic lead CBHS through a number of significant events and challenges from a prolonged earthquake remediation programme, to the March 15 terror attacks and a pandemic. All of this occurring against a backdrop of change and challenge in the education sector.
Tradition and respect remain important to Nic who has consistently placed a high value on developing our boys into courageous, empathetic and inclusive young men ready to take their place in a modern world.
Significantly, over 3000 boys will have embarked on their own journey under Nic's leadership during the last decade.Ngā mihi nui Nic, well done and keep up that great mahi.

Board Code of Conduct
Following some recent high profile incidents the Ministry of Education this month published a code of conduct for school boards. In its release the Minister of Education acknowledged "the vast majority of board members are ethical, generous and work hard to ensure their school is great for all students. CBHS supports this initiative and the focus on high standards of professional and personal integrity.
The Board have reviewed the Code of Conduct and the trustees confirmed their commitment to it. A copy of the Code of Conduct will be made available on the school website and attached below.
