This year, approximately 980,000 students from the Oceania region participated in ICAS (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools) competitions and assessments. From our school, 180 students took part in the Science Competition held in May.

Andy Simmonds received the Prime Minister's Scholarship for Asia to do an internship in Shanghai last year with a company called Haizol. Mathew Birt was also granted a Prime Minister's Scholarship to do a one year exchange at Zhejiang Gongshang University in Hangzhou China this year studying Mandarin and Commerce. 

A Christchurch Boys’ High School team won the Year 9 Cantamath Teams competition for the first time since 1999 with a scintillating performance.  

Whether it's atop a soaring mountain peak, burrowed into a desolate gully or carving through a forgotten valley, Discovery Sport is right at home. 

On the last day of Term 3, Friday the 29th of September, the School will finish at 1.30pm for the annual Staff vs Monitor Football Match. Students will attend Periods 1-4 and will be encouraged to watch the game where supervision will be available.
