Year 12 students, Sam Taylor, Jed le Pine, Ben Jensen, Mason Thacker and Lewys Francis ran a charity trail ride over the weekend of 1st & 2nd July. They had over 280 people attend and have made over $8,000 for the Waiau Pool rebuild. This is wonderful effort and staggering when you consider that last year, all our Business students raised about $7,500.

Headmaster's Comment

by Nic Hill

It has been an excellent term, again with some memorable Boys’ High moments. Though appreciative of a holiday, we are looking forward to term three and a key milestone for the school with the opening of the Hall. There will be an assembly for students on Tuesday the 5th of September and a wider community event on the 8th of September. This will be a special moment in School’s history and it symbolises our commitment to building the community. The Hall shows that building relationships are central to our curriculum.

Be Seen, Be Safe

by Dave Bone

It is great to see so many boys still cycling to school. However, I am concerned about the number of students that do not have lights or high visibility gear on them. Unfortunately, our school uniform is dark and our school jacket is black. With the longest day still to come, having we are facing another couple of months of dark mornings and also earlier darkness if the boys have practice after school.
