Central Hawke's Bay College featured strongly once again in the annual CHB Sports Awards last Friday evening.

Pukekaihau performed the opening bracket and were joined by several other performers over the evening who entertained the large crowd. The College also featured in several awards on the night.

Final results were:

Junior Team of the Year- CHB College Senior Boys Volleyball

Emerging Talent- Ella Jamieson for Swimming

Junior Female Sportsperson of the Year- Isobel Thomson for Equestrian

Junior Male Sportsperson of the Year- Bevan Jacobs for Swimming

Senior Female Sportsperson of the Year- Amanda Jamieson for Cycling (former student)

Senior Male Sportsperson of the Year- Regan Gough for Cycling (former student)

Congratulations to all these past and present students for receiving these awards in recognition of their sporting achievements and we hope you all continue to achieve your sporting goals.
