Hawke's Bay Secondary Schools Triathlon

It was a stunning evening at Pandora Pond last night, even the water looked inviting.
CHBC fielded seven teams in total and all athletes performed to a high standard, looked fantastic in the triathlon kit which was provided by Jacobs Construction and made all of the parents and teachers proud to be with them due to the polite, positive and enthusiastic approach to the event.

Most notable results were as follows: Third place in Junior mixed team comprising of Tom Bresseleers, Alice Thompson and Kaleb Schaw. Second place Junior mixed team comprising of Kegan Kirk, Sarah Matheson and Lachie Kirk. Well done to all three of our junior teams.

In the senior events we fielded four teams and all achieved good results. The senior boys team consisting of Bevan Jacobs, Mitchell Thompson and Shea Cracknell must receive the extra congratulations for winning the event.

Thanks once again to the parents who came, watched, cheered and helped keep costs down by providing transport.
