The Southland Secondary Schools Athletics Championships were held at Surrey Park on Saturday 9 March.

50 athletes from CSC competed and made the school proud with some outstanding results. We gained 21 titles and 58 top 3 placings which resulted in us winning the Konica Minolta Cup for top performing Southland school based on participation and results. 

Athletes who gained more than one Southland title were: 

Connor Gilliland - SB hurdles, triple jump, high jump 

Ollie Davis - SB long jump, 100m, 200m 

Xavier Glover - SB shot put, javelin 

Fiona Van der Poel - U16 G long jump, high jump, 200m 

Leah Langford - U15 G 400m, 4x100m relay 

Lily Cochran - U15 G 220m, relay
