Pink Shirt Day - Friday 20th May
Our students got behind Pink Shirt Day, raising money and awareness around standing together against bullying.
On Friday 20 May, we celebrated Pink Shirt Day. CSC was a sea of pink with students embracing the day, wearing all sorts of pink items and costumes. Pink clothing is worn by students who want to make a stand against bullying. This year the theme was “Stand Together Stop Bullying” and “Be an Upstander not a Bystander”. Proceeds from the day raised $565 for the Mental Health Foundation. This was a wonderful effort for a very worthy cause. Special thanks go to Kaylee Anderson and her support crew for their passion and drive, even in the pouring rain, to make the day a success.
