Trapshooting Nationals
7 students attended the Trapshooting Nationals in Christchurch over the school holidays.
Ed Smalley, Hannah West, Ian Hudson, Jack Keith, Luka Peters, George Tolentino and Dougal Fairburn travelled to Christchurch to compete in the NZ Secondary Schools Trapshooting Nationals. Hannah, Ed and Ian have competed at a National event before but this was a first for our 4 junior shooters.
All 7 shooters competed extremely well with Hannah West finishing 2nd in NZ and 4th in the South Island for the Single Rise Discipline - congratulations Hannah on the awesome results. Hannah and Ed were chosen to represent Southland in the Regional Shoot.
The students enjoyed the experience and represented CSC with pride. We farewell Ed Smalley from the team as he moves out of school and into the workforce. Thank you Ed for your commitment to CSC Trapshooting over the past 4 years.
A big thank you to coaches Jan Manson and Tim Smalley for all the time and commitment you have put into our students. A big thank you also to the parents who have been so supportive throughout the season and for attending the Nationals with the team.
