Over the July holidays we attended the South Island Secondary Schools Netball Tournament for 2022.

After a long day of traveling on Sunday we arrived at Acland House in Christchurch.

Our results from day one ended up with us securing a spot in the top 16 with two wins and a hard battle with Christchurch Girls finishing second in our pool.

On the second day we were only able to play one game due to the wet weather, although we didn’t come away with a win we got more time at the mall! 

On our last day we had to play catch up by playing three games instead of two. We had a challenging game against Marlborough Girls, coming away with the win. We are very proud of the team's efforts as we finished 14th overall. 

We had many highlights from the trip including, TimeZone, Riccarton Mall, New Brighton Pier and our favourite game against Columba Girls where we felt we really came together as a team. 

We would like to thank Grace and Annalise who came along as our team umpires. We would also like to thank Miss Murch for being our coach and Miss Kean for putting up with our interesting van conversations. We really enjoyed our time together and having the opportunity to represent CSC in this tournament.
