This year the Year 9 science classes were engaged in an end of year assessment that saw them conducting a Forensics Crime Scene Investigation.

Students were taken through the crime scene to consider the evidence followed by a 2 hour session where they carried out practical experiments such as blood typing, unknown chemical testing, fingerprint and blood spatter analysis in order to present their findings in a crime scene report. 

The labs were buzzing with activity and it was a great way for the students to showcase the skills and content knowledge they have gained over the year.
