On 5-6 November, Old Boy Sam Hodges returned to CSC to coach our Junior A and Senior A Volleyball Teams.

Sam is a former NZ Representative and recently competed in the National Volleyball League (NVL). The NVL is made up of the top 48 male and top 48 female adult players in New Zealand. Sam’s team, Northern Moana, won the overall competition the previous weekend.

Sam spent four hours training with our junior teams and eight hours with our senior teams over two days. Trainings included advanced skills and drills, game time, and some sit down sessions to discuss getting quality reps in.

Thanks so much Sam for taking the time to travel down, and for dedicating a weekend to give back to our volleyball program. You have inspired our young people with your success and fantastic attitude.
