The Colts A Basketball team competed in a one day tournament in Gore during tournament week.

The Colts A team played extremely well to reach the final of their one day tournament in Gore. They gained maximum points against  Aurora, Wakatipu and Verdon to reach the final. 

Toby McGregor was awarded player of the game against Wakatipu dominating the boards at both ends. Blake Howes Kollat scored 26 points in the Verdon game to be awarded player of the game status.

The final was a close encounter with CSC leading until halftime. Verdon worked their way back into the game to be all tied up at 3 quarter time. It was only in the last two minutes that Verdon's shots dropped where CSC's didn't and we ended up losing by 8. Player of the final was Archie Bryan leading the way at both ends of the court.

It was an awesome way for the boys to finish their season.
