Learning new skills in a new environment!

In June we travelled away for 2 days to Queenstown.  Assessments carried out at the end lead to some very impressive results. The boys spent a very busy day bouldering, top rope climbing, demonstrating belay skills and carrying out their English presentations in an exciting conclusion to a positive cross curricular learning experience. 

A special shout out must go to Oliver McCallum and Jah-Dae Wepa who achieved Excellence level climbs and Ezra Astwood who presented an exceptional instructional lesson on safe belay practice. Special thanks to Mrs Jenkins for supporting the boys on camp and scaffolding an opportunity for them to shine.
