Onscreen Film Competition
This year we had two entries in the OnScreen Film Competition. Although we did not get through to the next round, our students worked very hard to write, film, direct and produce their short films.
The first film was called Dolour. The production of this film showed teamwork and collaboration. It was written by Justine Taguiam, Ruth Cody, and Alana Meechang. Directed and edited by Justine Taguim/Gabe Pascua with Assistant Directors: Alana Meechang/Ruth Cody. Sound and music by Deacon Kynan-Wilde. Costume Designer Ruth Cody and makeup by Sophia Watson
The next was a documentary style film by Blake Shaw called Hardship, Truth and Triumph. This explores some questions about how schools help people with learning difficulties and what perceptions there are from peers.
Both teams worked hard with filming and editing and learned a lot about the film industry. Well done to both teams!
