The funeral for our Year 13 whānau leader, Kate Gutry, is at 2pm on Monday afternoon. You will appreciate that many of our Year 13 and whānau students, along with staff, will want to attend the farewell to Kate.

Although school will remain open for instruction, formal classes will finish early at the end of Period 4 on Monday, after a minute’s silence across the school at 12.51pm to commemorate the 2011 earthquake. Students will be released to go home just before 1pm, and may work from home.

If there are students who are unable to go home at this earlier time, supervision will be available in the library until the usual end of day at 2.40pm.
