Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora Lip Sync 2022

CGHS Publications —

Congratulations to all our students and staff who took part in LipSync on Thursday 24 June.

This year we were thankful that the Covid restrictions had been lifted to allow us to hold our school Lip Sync even if it was a term later than planned. On Thursday 25th August students, parents and staff piled into the Christchurch Boys' High auditorium for the 2022 Lip Sync battle.

There is no secret that the teachers' performance is one of the most highly anticipated performances of the night and they did not disappoint.

Not to say that watching our students dancing and lip syncing on stage representing their houses and other school groups isn't also up there.

This year there were 15 groups that took to the stage in an effort to be named the top group. They were all truly amazing and did a wonderful job. Their talent, skill and enthusiasm was inspiring.

Congratulations to our staff who took the win over the house prefects. Harper took out the house title, the Librarians/SHE committee students won the open section, and our Prefects conversationally won over the Boys High Monitors.

Thank you also to all the staff and whānau who came along to support our students.
