CANTRICES

Cantrices is one of two choirs at CGHS. It is an auditioned group with a high standard of commitment that is open to all year levels. We sing a wide variety of music, including classical, contemporary, folk songs, and world music. Cantrices performs at the Big Sing every year, as well as at the Voices Festival and various events around the school and community. Rehearsals are every Tuesday from 2.50-5:30 and Thursday lunch. Attendance from all members is expected at every rehearsal, as this group performs to a high standard.

SHOW CHOIR

Show Choir is one of two choirs that we have at CGHS. There is no audition and everyone is welcome. We perform a variety of choreographed and staged musical theatre numbers (Wicked, Grease, Hairspray, and others), as well as a few pop songs and songs from hit movies (including Queen, Aladdin). If you enjoy singing and dancing, we would love to have you!

No audition and no experience is necessary. Rehearsals are Mondays after school from 2-45 -3.30, with regular attendance expected. Our first rehearsal will be held on Monday, 22nd February in the PAC.
