The CGHS Jazz Band is the union of our classical diversity backed by our contemporary band style rhythm section bringing to life not only the jazz classics but some more modern adaptations as well.

 In this way it really brings together the best of both worlds allowing musicians from different genres to come together in a shared passion for playing some good music. Our set can range from modern pop numbers such as Feel It Still by Portugal, The Man to timeless classics like Cold Duck Time by Eddie Harris. We have enjoyed playing in many of the Girls’ High performance opportunities including our Music Concerts and look forward to competing at Jazz Quest next chance we get.
