Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2023 - Nau Mai ki Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori 2023.

We celebrated Māori language week this week in the library from 11 to 15 September.  Our librarians made an amazing display on Māori Language week for our school library. The students try to use Te Reo in their daily life. We put posters up of frequently used words, issuing and returning resources and finding resources and greetings.

Battle of the Bibliophiles

The 2023 Battle of the Bibliophiles (BOB) teams have been practicing in the library every week. Annabel Diprose, one of the 2022 BOB team members, has arranged a kahoot from all the selected books they are reading. The students enjoyed this and found it very useful for their preparation. The team will battle against 51 other High School teams around New Zealand in Term 4. 

Sayu Weerasinghe, Medha Baadkar, Matisse Foster, Poppy Archer, Isabella Botha and Ayana Cooke will be in Team A and Charlotte Bealing, Naishaa Ramwani and Manahil Malik will be in Team B.
