Qualification: NCEA Level 2

Entry requirements: Year 11 SCG (1 of the 2 external standards in the school examination, all of the internal standards and at the discretion of the HOD Biology); Year 11 SCP (2 of the 3 Level 1 externals in the school examination including the Genetics standard); Year 11 SCA (at the discretion of the HOD Biology).

Content/Skills: Medical Science, Field Ecology, Cellular Biology, Genetics and Evolution, Molecular Genetics (DNA structure and Gene Expression) , Animal (including Human) Biology, Applied Biology, Conservation, Vaccines and immunisation.
