Top Art Exhibition
The Art Department is very excited that three of our level three art students portfolios have been selected to be a part of the prestigious NZQA Top Art Exhibition this year.
Top Art is a showcase of the very best work from each field of painting, photography, design, sculpture and printmaking throughout New Zealand.
“These students have created outstanding work, and this is just a small sample of what was produced at Excellence level in schools across the country last year.” says NZQA Deputy Chief Executive, Jann Marshall.
Congratulations to Olive Bartlett-Mowat for her Design portfolio titled ‘Guantanamo Bay Surf Club', to Anna Clinch for her Printmaking portfolio titled ‘Underground’ and to Poppy Heyward-Judd for her Printmaking portfolio. We are extremely proud of the efforts and determination they have put into realising their ideas for their portfolios.
To get an up close look at the outstanding works produced, the Top Art Exhibition will be touring and on display at the Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū from 3-14 April.
