On Wednesday 23rd August, two Year 9 and two Year 10 teams went to the Wolfbrook Arena to compete in the 2023 Cantamath Competition.

The evening was memorable as this was the 50th year of the Cantamath Competition and the Wolfbrook Arena was filled with hundreds of excited and very noisy Year 7 to 10 students who were competing in the team competitions.

Our Year 9 and Year 10 teams worked hard and achieved good scores. This was a great effort as competition was fierce.  As well as the team competitions there were also Cantamath projects.

10DLM were awarded an Excellence award in the Class Project Category. Each student created a square and they put it together to produce this beautiful quilt. 

10DLM are planning to donate the quilt to the Women's Refuge.
