The International Club is a space for students of all nationalities to embrace new cultures.

 Everyone is welcome to participate in this diverse community. The main objective of the club is to foster friendships between students from different cultural backgrounds. We also hold many events throughout the year.

The first event for 2018 was Food Day. There was spaghetti aglio e olio, almond jelly and many other varieties of food which was a success. We donated all the money raised to World Vision which was the charity the International Club had chosen together.

 In Term 3 we had the International Week. We had a chopstick competition in the library and a wonderful display thanks to Mrs Earnshaw and the library team.

We also hosted exchange students from Mukogawa School from Japan. For the International Assembly, the Kapa Haka group beautifully performed in traditional costumes. We also had Ryoka and Victoria performing ‘Arirang’ by George Winston on the piano and flute. To finish the assembly the students from Mukogawa performed a very special dance presentation to our school.

A massive thank you to all the members of the club, the effort you put into this year’s event was fantastic and you made this year incredibly successful for the club.
