With the borders re-opening we are looking to add quality homestay families to our database. If you have any questions or are curious about what is involved please email international@cghs.school.nz

Students need to have their own room inside the home with a warm family environment and the family must be open and welcoming to students from different cultures.

We have students enrol for short term and long term programmes. We prefer families that are walking distance or a short bus ride from the school but are happy to consider families that are further away.

It is a requirement that all family members over 12 are fully vaccinated and are able to show evidence of this.

Our homestay families play a big part in the experience and success of our International students and will often become an important part of your family with lifelong connections.
