Year 13 Librarians

A big shout out for our fantastic Year 13 librarians for their outstanding activities in the library throughout their academic years. We must wave our hands in two weeks to them. They have contributed creative and enthusiastic vibes to the juniors.

Battle of Bibliophiles

Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora team are going to participate in the national reading competition Battle of Bibliophiles in the week of Monday 31st October to Friday 4th November. This is Week 3 of Term 4. In the competition the students need to read 15 books. 

The competition will be conducted online through google form. To prepare the competition we have conducted digital Britannica school session in the library. The participants have 1.30 hours uninterrupted time and up to 2 hours with explanations etc. There will be three sessions of Powerpoints. During the first two sessions, they will need to answer from their assigned books and the last one they will need to answer from Britannica school. 

The winning team will receive a trophy and medallions and Digital Britannica are providing each member of the winning team a book voucher of $100.00!!
