Last week our Senior A Basketball team travelled up to Nelson to compete in the South Island secondary school tournament.

The girls fought hard through pool play coming out first in their pool. They then crossed with Rangiora in the quarter-final, emerging victorious.  The girls then versed Middleton Grange in the semi-final. The girls beat Middleton sending them through to the finals against Otago Girls' High. After a hard fight Girls' High came out on top winning by 30. Making them South Island Champs!!
