The Canterbury Secondary School Squash Championships were held last weekend.

Petra Curd-McCullough (Year 13), Tayla Breward (Year 11) and Lily McGonigal (Year 9) played in the Canterbury Secondary Schools Individual Squash Championships. 

Lily and Tayla ended up having to play each other in the first round which was a very good game with Lily coming away with the win. 

Lily then sadly had to pull out from the final two games due to illness. From here Tayla won the rest of her matches securing the plate (5th place prize). 

I won all of my games taking away the championship title for the fourth year in a row, securing Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora the trophy once again.

Overall Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora had a very successful tournament and I look forward to supporting from the sidelines next year.
