Temukisa Fetūao won first place in the National FAGASA Samoan Speech competition senior finals (years 12 and 13) over the weekend!

The theme for this year's speech was “Tapena Sou Oso Mo Lau Malaga" - "Prepare yourself a gift for your travels". 

Temukisa's 5-minute speech was about how it is important for young Pasifika people to start preparing for the future now. She also spoke about the importance of being successful to make parents proud and pay back the love and sacrifices they have made for their children. Most importantly she spoke about the need for young Pasifika people to represent their culture with pride.   

This is an amazing achievement at the national level by Temukisa. This the final year Temukisa will represent our school at this competition, something she has done for the last 5 years. Thank you Temukisa, we are all so proud of you.
