Kia ora! Assalamuyalaikum!

Holidays are almost upon us, and the library is now full of colour and joy. We are celebrating different cultural and religious events in our library at Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora.

Muslim Author Focus

The Library committee organised a Muslim author promotion in the library. They made amazing posters and briefings of Muslim authors in the display. They displayed fiction and non-fiction books written by Muslim authors to build a well-bonded community in the library.

Jigsaws 

The Library is a place where students feel safe and welcome. They enjoy jigsaws during their break times, rainy days and after school.  

Easter Egg Hunt

Our students enjoyed hiding Easter Eggs around the school for an Easter Egg hunt. Our librarians have created an amazing display for Easter.
