Year 13 French

Michelle Pinkney —

In July this year the Year 13 French class experienced an aspect of French culture at a local Crêperie, La Maison des Crêpes, and we also made our own crêpes later in the year.

At the restaurant the students enjoyed a selection of both savoury and sweet crēpes.

Savoury crêpes are known as Galettes. They are traditionally from Brittany and are made with buckwheat flour.

Those with a sweeter tooth chose chocolate, cream and caramel options.

We had a very enjoyable afternoon, surrounded by images of France and messages in French.

On a beautiful spring morning at the end of Term 3, we made crêpes at school. Students made their own delicious crêpes with a variety of toppings.
