Brooke Keown Year 12, raced at the South Island BMX Championships held in Cromwell on the 8th & 9th January 2022.

Over 300 riders competed over the weekend from across NZ and the racing was live streamed on Facebook.

Brooke was run off the track twice during the qualification races on Saturday but managed to make the final on Sunday where she came away with a well deserved 3rd place in the Elite woman category.
