The "Total Traffic Management" team have informed Christchurch Girls' High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora of road works that will be carried out at the intersection of Matai Street East and Deans Avenue.

The works are to replace a poor condition street light pole.  To accommodate the works there will be a full road closure from 10 Matai Street East to Deans Avenue.

• Planned night of works 21/11/2023 7.00pm -  22/11/23 6.00am
• Contingency night of works 28/11/23  7.00pm -  29/11/23 6.00am

While the closure is in place full standard operation of the adjacent cycle lane will remain.

During these road works, some problems may be experienced such as property access.  Should your property be within the closure points, you will need to park your vehicle outside the closure area and use the footpath. 

Any restrictions put in place will apply to all vehicle traffic except for emergency service vehicles.
