A lovely afternoon was held today with the YOGs who donated Colin McCahon's 'North Otago Landscape NO. 19' to CGHS.

Today current and past students, staff and our parent community helped celebrate 100 years since the birth of Colin McCahon and 50 years since the Young Old Girls held a ball that led to the purchase of this painting. 

The school is most fortunate to own such an historical piece of iconic New Zealand art. We are very appreciative of the Young Old Girls foresight and generosity.
