The School of Product Design at the University of Canterbury is holding its annual Graduation Showcase, highlighting student projects, from 15 – 18 December 2022 at TSB Space Level 1, Turanga (Central Library).

The Showcase is an amazing way for your students to see what the School of Product Design is all about.

Christchurch Youth Council Recruiting

Christchurch Youth Council are recruiting! We want any 12- 24 year olds who are passionate to make Ōtautahi an awesome place for young people.

What do we do:
- run informative, engaging or just fun events - hold training sessions for young people- get out into the community to speak and connect with young people- network and create strong relationships with the Christchurch City Council- respond to local governments consultations- create an environment of inclusion and friendship within CYC
What you will get out of it:
- Further develop a huge range of skills like leadership, public speaking, networking, written and spoken communication and financial skills- Opportunity for training in a range of fields- Awesome skills for now and later in life many of which you can add to your CV- Strong relationships with the CCC and with the Christchurch community- Further understanding of diverse cultures, lifestyles and passions- Lasting friendships

Hagley Community College  Tertiary Pathways options for next year.

Catch Up College January Intensive We will again be offering our Catch Up College Intensive with face-to-face teaching from mid January for students needing 6-8 credits for UE or tertiary entry requirements. Catch Up College 2022 - Hagley College

Longer-term Catch Up For students who require more than 6-8 credits we are able to offer enrolments in our Senior College with individualised programmes, with options of part-time study either for the full year or aiming for semester two tertiary course entry.

Certificate in University Preparation (CUP) The University of Canterbury’s CUP is a full-time, one semester, non-NCEA pathway to study at university. Enrolments are through the UC website: Certificate in University Preparation | University of Canterbury | University of Canterbury. While we no longer deliver the Academic writing and study skills (TRNS001) course at UC for full-time CUP students we do offer a semesterised Academic writing and study skills course at Te Puna Wai o Waipapa Hagley College with UC credit transfer for TRNS001. This means that students could opt to do this paper (TRNS001) with us part-time and to complete the full certificate at UC at a later date.

Te Kura (Correspondence School)

Te Kura accepts short-term registrations over the summer break. Te Kura Summer School is a learning programme available for eligible ākonga (students) who require up to 12 NCEA credits to progress to further study, training, or employment.
