Examinations
Major examinations for Years 11 to 13 take place once a year, in addition to regular in-class assessments conducted by teachers throughout the year.
During examinations, students must not talk or borrow equipment.
It is important that you do not schedule appointments during exam periods. If you are unwell, a parent or caregiver should contact the school to notify staff as soon as possible.
You may be required to provide a medical certificate to the Assessment Coordinator at bly@cghs.school.nz.
The examination timetable is published well in advance on the student noticeboards to help you plan your revision.
Please note that start and finish times of the school day may be adjusted during examination periods. These changes will affect all year levels, including students not sitting exams. Additionally, there may be changes to room locations during this time.
