Congratulations to Tayla Cox, Amelia Gombert, and Hayzel Pole who all represented Christchurch Girls' High School | Te Kura o Hine Waiora at the Canterbury Secondary Schools Triathlon Champs in Southbridge on Tuesday.

The students showed resilience on a day that started wet and rainy but by the time they finished running, it was very hot. Congratulations to Tayla, who placed 2nd in the U16 Girls' race, looking particularly strong in both the swim and run. Amelia placed 8th in the U16 girls and Hayzel placed 17th in the U14 girls.

All three students should be very proud of their efforts and how well they demonstrated our school value of rangatiratanga while racing and supporting others.
