Christchurch Girls’ High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora had three groups entered in the Canterbury Smokefree Rockquest. All performed exceptionally well and relished the experience.

This annual school Rock extravaganza was held on Saturday  May 18th at the Aurora Centre. 

The three groups from CGHS were: 

• Chalk (Year 10)
• Kick Chickz (Year 11)
• ‘There’s a Tuesday Between a Monday and Between a Wednesday.’ (a duo of Minnie Robberds CGHS And Nat Hutton St Margaret’s). 

‘There’s a Tuesday Between a Monday and Between a Wednesday.’ won their duo category. The Kick Chickz and ‘There’s a Tuesday Between a Monday and Between a Wednesday.’ have been selected for the regional finals on June 14th. 

A wonderful effort from all concerned.
