Amelie Wink, Year 10, was part of the Canterbury team competing in Kaikoura last week.

Amelie competed up an age division in the U18's where she made it into the final. The Canterbury team had to overcome a fierce battle with other regions with the results of the last day making the difference. Canterbury was crowned the National Scholastic Surfing Champions for just the second time Canterbury in 32 years.
