We have arrived in Paris!

Our first full day in the capital began with a visit to the Arc de Triomphe, an impressive monument built to celebrate Napolean's victories.  We then strolled down the Champs Elysées to the Louvre, where we spent a few hours admiring and learning about sculptures and paintings, as well as the impressive architecture of the building

The afternoon's highlight was the Eiffel Tower.  An elevator ride to the summit provided a spectacular view of the city. 

We have been incredibly lucky with the weather; blue skies and 26 degrees today.
