Student Volunteer Army (SVA)
The Student Volunteer Army (SVA) is a nationally recognized service programme in which students sign-up and record the service and volunteer hours they do.
This encourages our students to get out of their comfort zone and try to help and support other members and groups within our wider community.
Students log their volunteering hours and in recognition for their effort and dedication they earn pins as they reach particular milestones.
It takes five hours of service to earn the members pin, 32 hours to earn the Bronze award pin, 250 hours to earn the Silver award pin and 500 hours to earn the Gold award pin.
We’re pleased to announce that in March we had eight students achieve pins.
Member Pins: Amelia Wilson, Annabelle Sewell, Dhruvi Parikh, Lily Weeds, Lily Young,Bronze Pins: Amelia Wilson, Annabelle Sewell, Dhruvi Parikh, Lily Weeds, Lily Young,Silver Pins:Holly Ross, Lucy Ryan, Tanisha Butt.
Congratulations to all these students and we encourage all our students to sign up and become a Student Volunteer if they have not already done so.
