On Friday the 27th of November, our junior Kī-o-rahi team participated in the Canterbury Secondary Schools Kī-o-rahi tournament at Ngā Puna Wai.

The focus of the day was whanaungatanga, fun and tikanga. As a team we improved greatly throughout the day as we competed in a pool with three other schools. Overall, the tournament was a big success. Playing in a mixed tournament was a challenge but it was a great opportunity to play against other schools as well as getting to know our own peers better.

A big thank you to the tournament organisers who made this tournament possible and to Ms Sisifa who transported and kindly looked after us at the event.
