International week - To celebrate international week the global relation committee made an amazing display in the library. Ka Pai team!!

FIFA Women's World Cup 2023

FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 is jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand, from 20 July to 20 August 2023. For the first time FIFA Women's World Cup is being held in more than one host nation and multiple confederations. To celebrate New Zealand  hosting the tournament, the Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora football team and Mrs Bee Ruder have put together a beautiful display in the library. 

Book Week is Coming!!

Book Week is next week (31July-4 August), and the theme is "Hollywood Movies based on books."  Our librarians’  want to create a welcoming atmosphere in our school library.  The library will host kahoots, competitions, creative craft and movie watching.  Students and staff are welcome to join any activities. We hope to see you all at the dress up day on Tuesday 1st of August in costume. Students need to come in school uniform and dress up at  school at interval.  We will take photos in the library and prizes will be awarded. We have come up with some categories - a 'classic books' costume (ie Pride and Prejudice) and book characters, and then just general Hollywood: Movies based on Books.  A huge thank you to all the student librarians who are helping us with book week activities,  decorations and with all the creative thoughts in the library.
